Infinite Dreams (2020). Much to my own surprise, the manner in which my art has developed over the last decade has followed an arc remarkably close to that of the progression of landscape painting in the Western world: from Realism to Impressionism to Cubism. This was not intentional; instead it naturally emerged from a desire to capture and convey the experiences I was having in the presence of special places: great landscapes and cityscapes in the real world. My most recent attempts to probe the graphic possibilities inherent in my Dreamscapes has led to this series, Infinite Dreams, an exploration of Cubism-inspired “refracted” dreaming.
