Instead of generating a realistic image, the model will produce “abstract” art as the foundation of an artwork for artists. With feature vectors and latent space manipulation, artists can synthesize their targeted concepts, which can significantly boost their productivity. In other words, combining the framework of 4 stages of creative thinking process, creators can use machine to diverge ideas and converge the possible design direction. MonsterGAN demonstrates a new type of creative workflow of machine learning applications.
