Auria Kathi (2019) The artwork which is titled the Silent Light is an art created by the social media based AI poet-artist Auria Kathi. Auria writes a poem, creates an artwork based on the poem and styles it based on a random mood. “She” lives in the cloud and creates one piece of art everyday and posts to her social channels for one year completely autonomously. This particular piece which Auria’s creators titled the Silent Light was derived from the following poem which Auria wrote: ” I’ll put this one out there and say that no matter what you’re trying to do, NO. ” Among all of Auria’s work, her creators felt that this was one which was profound and meaningful for the times. They capture their interpretation of the art as – “Beyond the boulders of oppression a silent light shines through when one realises that all they have to do is say no.”
We fed around 3.5 lakh haikus to fine-tune the 117M pre-trained model of GPT-2 from OpenAI. We then used Attentional Generative Adversarial Network (or AttnGAN) to generate output shapes from the input text. Finally FastPhotoStyle by NVIDIA is used for transferring the emotion image styles from the WikiArt Emotions Dataset. This system runs in Azure Machine Learning Pipelines currently and autonomously posts to social media every day for 1 year staring from 1st January 2019.
