The Elephant (2018)

Ikat is a dyeing technique in which the yarn is dyed prior to weaving. Popular in the state of Telangana in India, its style contrasts with other techniques, where dyeing happens after the cloth is woven. Hence this technique creates a shading effect of different colors merging into one another. We harnessed this property to create our designs.
