Terram in Aspectu (2019). A series of phantom islands (bodies of land that appeared for centuries in maps, but at some point were proven not to exist) were recreated as satellite photography through a machine learning algorithm trained with images from Google Earth.

As posthumous monuments to scientific errors, geopolitical lies, projects of celebrity, and mythological stories, “Terram in Aspectu” reflects on the conception, legacies, and institution of knowledge.
